Electrolyzed water (E-Water), is generated by the electrolysis of a water based solution. AGarvey's E-water solution is a mixture of salt, water and vinegar. The reaction produces hypochlorous acid, with a pH range from 3-10. The pH range can be controlled through the variation in the composition amounts. These combinations can produce acidic, neutral or alkaline solutions.
E-Water solution compared to household cleaners have lower corrosivity, minimal off-gassing, a more pleasing smell, reduced skin, respiratory, and eye irritation, and degrades to leave no harmful residues.
E-Water inactivates bacteria, and viruses, through multiple mechanisms such as, the oxidation of sulfhydryl group, chlorination of amino acid, disruption of cell membrane integrity, protein denaturation, and damage to nucleic acids.
Multiple studies, as well as AGarvey's own internal testing have shown the efficiency of E-Water simular or better than bleach and isopropyl alcohol. AGarvey's initial testing demonstrated E-Water 's ability to clean surfaces of an Oxygen Pilot Mask. Cleaning was compared to the standard practice of an isopropyl swab, found after breathing into a Oxygen Pilot Mask.
AGarvey's Automated Mask Cleaner can use E-Water as a cleaning agent, among other certified cleaners. AGarvey E-Water generation system can be used for household, and agriculture cleaning as well.
